Greetings EduBloggers

I am the special education teacher in a 5th grade collaborative classroom. I'm also a level I certified Professional Ski Instructor through PSIA for people with disabilities. My background in teaching and working with people of all abilities has helped me to understand how important it is to be inclusive of all people in the classroom and the community. I enjoy using technology to provide differentiated instruction to all learners, young and old. Technology is key to engaging and providing our students the skills they need to be lifelong learners.

Our Global Edu Community

I LOVE the multilingual posts that have been popping up throughout edublogger and twitter. I really feel like our little ning community has gone global and I'm excited to be a part of this experience. I love reading the posts and twits in different languages and I'm grateful to be connected with all of you teachers from across the globe.

There aren't many special education teachers in classroom 2.0 either. Where are they? Where are they hiding? Are they afraid to discuss what's going in their classrooms via blogging? Are they turned off by the technology? Do they have access to the technology? Being a special education teacher isn't an easy job, I know, but you can often… Continue

This is a site you should have told me about early in the summer. We could have been playing all summer together.
