Hi it is epals.com and quite good for connecting classes but it takes time and you will have to register your class but then they can connect with classes from all over the world

Sue, i don't know what epals is. Is it possible to see that online?
I need to read some of the things your students write to see if my students will be able to understand.
I've thought that we could read your students' letters and answer back. Emails could do.
I don't have access to computers at school, all my students have internet at home, though.

Hi gabriella! Thanks for the answer. Actually we are using epals as i haven't sorted out the issue of blogging yet and which site is appropriate for the kids. Is that possible or can I email you letters? Sorry its a money issue at my end and a security issue Thanks

Yes! We can plan something together. I couldn't find a link to your students' blogs in your blog. Actually, I don't know if they are blogging.

Hi Gabriela, thanks for the response! This is all relly great stuff. My students are year 9 so they are 14-5 year olds and are writing to meet and learn about other teenagers in different countries. They have a fairly limited world view here, mostly white ,only speak English so I am hoping to open some doors. Is this any help?

Sue, I work at secondary school. My youngest students this year are 14 years old. They are pre-intermediate level, which is not high. They could be an audience and I really think getting into real "conversations", in this case, reading real letters is more valuable than working with texts prepared for EFL students. I wonder about the ages.
