This group is designed as a place to talk about establishing student news bureaus around the world. We're looking for educators, students, and community leaders to help us. The effort will be put in place on PNN.com

Hello
The idea is start news 'bureaus' around the world - connecting kids with kids and the world.
First thoughts are that we need a teacher or community leader at each bureau to head up the program. They, in turn, would train students to do the reporting.
Each leader would be able to post questions to any or all groups around the world, and get text, photo, video or audio responses.
Occasionally the questions would be edited into pieces that can be posted on the main site, and forwarded to national media.
