Actually, your phrasing is very good! That is the most difficult part of mastering any language. You sound/write like a native speaker...

Hello, my name is Robin Ellis I am the instructional technology specialist in a K-12 district in Quakertown, PA. I work with students and teachers to facilitate the use of technology in all areas of content through curriculum writing to working with individuals to create projects for students to be engaged in.
I have been an avid blog reader for the past year, started my own blog in June. I had attended a two day workshop in Februrary in Philadelphia which Steve and Will Richardson conducted after which I was hooked. It has taken me a while to get started and I look at blogging as my own PD. I have learned a lot and met many great people in this way and will continue to build a network of others to continuing learning from. Looking forward to the conversations and always looking for classrooms willing to partner in collaborative projects!

Hello from Israel! This introduction will be in English and Spanish. I'm a teacher of both English and Spanish as foreign languages in Israel. I am originally from Argentina, but have been living in Israel since 1979. I have been teaching at Kugel High School in Holon since 1989.
I have tried some things with the internet, using the school site, webquests, and so on. However, I feel that now, after having taken part in an excellent on-line course with Educar , I may have found another way of doing it (I hope).
I have just created a blog to be used with ten graders at school: EFLYUDKugel (Yud is the Hebrew word for tenth grade)
I welcome comments an suggestions. And now to Spanish.
Shalom!

Hello! My name is Eric MacKnight. I have been teaching English since 1980 in public, independent, and international schools in the United States, Morocco, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, The Netherlands, and China.

I've been experimenting with blogs as a writing venue for my students, and I'm developing a WordPress blog as an integral part of my IB English A1 course that begins this fall.

I'm also the author of a book for secondary school students, their teachers, and their parents, called 'Good Habits, Good Students'.

I'm looking forward to finding out what all of you are up to, and stealing as many good ideas as I can ;^ ).

Cheers,

Eric

Hi fellow Edubloggers:

My name is Radamés and i am from Puerto Rico, a commonwealth of the USA. I teach Computer Science in three different universities: Interamerican University of PR, Metropolitan University and Universidad del Turabo. I discovered the blogosphere in a congress of edubloggers some months ago and since then i'm very involved in the blog world. My blog is Radamés Toro en Prisma Digital; is in spanish, because the core of my audience is hispanic and is integrated in my classes. I hope my participation in this community opens new doors in this integration and hopefully meet with other hispanic bloggers.

Hello everyone,

My name is Glen Coulthard and I'm a professor in the School of Business at Okanagan College in British Columbia, Canada. I teach computing, information systems, and performance technology courses. I have recently returned from a faculty leave where I worked towards my doctorate with Purdue University's Educational Technology Program. As an author and instructional designer with McGraw-Hill Higher Education, I am very interested in the next wave of educational publishing and the impending demise of the cost-prohibitive "textbook." I look forward to chatting.

Glen

I live and work in a very beautiful part of the world...Northern NSW Australia. Ancient volcanic shield, clothed in verdant rainforest meets Pacific Ocean and some of the world's best surf breaks. Lucky me!

I divide my (work) time between teaching children (K-6), training staff (over a much broader geographical area as part of my State's Intel Teach team), and troubleshooting/building/rebuilding network infrastructure. Its the teacher training that's the most challenging part. Yet I'm sure that it also carries the greatest rewards. So....one at a time, teach them to teach and support each other. The mullumwriters blog has been a great way to engage students, staff and parents.

I blog at 21st Century Skills

My name is Gabriela Sellart. I teach English as a foreign language in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I post in English for my students, but I write about my web 2.0 experience in Spanish.
The possibility of being connected to educators all over the world is fascinating.
I started blogging for my students last March and discovered myself as a completely different kind of learner, different from the kind I thought I was. This was very confussing at the beginning, but extremly encouriging as well.
